SenCura Home Care is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Ashburn, VA

We also operate Sencura Home Care Agency, providing compassionate care to those in need. We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and help enhance our services across all our locations in Northern Virginia through seamless technology solutions.

Job Description:

As an IT Support Specialist at Karter Schools and Sencura Home Care Agency, you will be the cornerstone for all our technology needs across multiple sites. Your role will involve ensuring that our computing systems, network, educational software, and client management systems are effectively managed and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network devices, and printers across all locations.
  • Provide technical support to staff at multiple sites and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage user accounts and assist with the setup of educational and healthcare management software.
  • Conduct regular system backups and ensure the security of data and network access.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical problems and update equipment.
  • Train staff on new technologies and ensure compliance with IT policies.
  • Support the integration of educational and healthcare technologies into our services.
  • Travel between sites as needed to ensure consistent IT support across all locations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a willingness to travel between locations.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on listening and questioning.
  • Experience working in an educational and/or healthcare environment is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Experience level:

  • 1 year

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Ashburn, VA 20147: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
